Primero, segundo y tercero son números ordinales. Son importantes para decir fechas, dar direcciones, y contestar preguntas. Estas son unas reglas sencillas que le indican cómo decir los números ordinales.
- Para números que terminan en 1 (excepto el 11), diga first (furst; primero).
- Para números que terminan en 2 (excepto el 12), diga second (se-cond; segundo).
- Para números que terminan en 3 (excepto el 13), diga third (zurd; tercero).
- Para 11, 12, 13, y todos los otros números, añada la terminación –th.
